About US

My photo
Nate and I have been married for 2 and a half years now now which has gone by pretty fast! In January we were blessed to have Brynlee join our family. Nate works as a software engineer at Novell and I am so grateful for the hard worker he is and how he goes to work every day to support us. He is the best husband to me and the best dad to Brynlee and she can't get enough of him. I stay at home with Brynlee along with doing esthetics part time. And Brynlee just stays busy keeping us smiling everyday! We couldn't be a happier little family!

Strawberry fields, Plantation Houses, Atlanta

These two pictures are at the plantaion houses, the one below was the biggest one. If you look really hard you can see us on top of the stairs.
In the good old days, this was the bathroom. Try going at the same time along with 3 others. I am sure glad we have stalls with doors on them these days! (the 4th hole got cut off)

Nate and his parents holding our hand picked straweberries in our bucket in the strawberry field

Nate couldn't wait long enough to put them in the bucket so they made it to his mouth and I don't think he got a lot in the bucket. Good thing there were 3 others of us so we were able to make it home with enough :)

Last week Nate or I should say Nathaniel (thats what he is known by in Georgia) and I went for a short visit to Dunwoody Georgia to visit his family. We were there for almost a week, so we tried to fit in as much as we could. We didn't get too many pictures cuz we were slackers, but thats what our memory is for right!? :) We went to the lake for the first couple of days which is always tradition. Besides seeing his family, that is what he LOVES about Georgia We also were able to go to a Strawberry field to pick strawberries. You fill up a bucket with as many strawberries as you can fit, and they were so fresh. I wish we had somewhere here like that to just go pick fresh fruit! We were able to go to the "plantation houses" in Georgia. That was pretty neat to see the old homes and how they lived back in the days. It was cool to see the slaves houses, and how all of that took place. It was really interesting to see cuz you here about it in history but it was neat to actually be there. Then another day we went to downtown Atlanta and hung out there for the afternoon. We actually were able to go take a tour of Martin Luther Kings birth house which was pretty neat as well. I guess you can say this last trip was kind of a history tour which was neat because we haven't ever done that before. Besides all that, we were able to just hang out with his familiy and enjoy the "southern" life. Thanks so much Kranendonks for letting us come spend the week with you, we can't wait till we get to come back next summer :)
